Lockdown has increased the number of domestic abuse incidents across the country. The number of calls to the National Domestic Abuse helpline run by Refuge, was 25% above average in the second week of lockdown and 49% higher than normal after three weeks and in London over 4,000 arrests connected to domestic abuse have been made to date.

The Bright Sky app can also be downloaded to record incidents of abuse and is available in four languages. Only download it if it safe to do so and you are sure your phone is not being monitored.
