Your information is key

When you’re reporting a repair online, tell us as much as you can about what’s gone wrong. It’s important you include things like where it is in your home, and when the problem started. If you can, include a description of what has happened and needs to be fixed.

You should report repairs to us as soon as you notice them. It doesn’t matter if the problem is big or small. Even if it’s not something that’s bothering you just yet, we want to know about it. If you don’t report it to us right away, it could become worse over time and harder to put it right.

It’s also important to tell us how any faults happened, even if someone in your home has caused damage. Sometimes we will agree to carry out the repair work ourselves (in some cases this will be recharged to you if you caused the damage) or we may agree to you fixing the problem yourself.
