Reporting fraud – free workshops

We're providing free workshops to help you understand how to report fraud and what happens after

We know that fraud is a concern for you. Which is why we’ve partnered with Action Fraud and City of London Police (CLP) to provide free workshops to help you understand how to report fraud, and what happens once you’ve reported something. They’ll also offer prevention advice and how to stay safe with online banking.

The workshops will be lead by Detective Sergeant Chris Buckingham. They’ll be available online, and there’s space for 400 people at each one.

  • Monday 26 April, 12.30-1.30pm

  • Tuesday 27 April, 6.30-7.30pm

What will they cover?

  • How to report fraud, and why it’s important

  • Roles of National Fraud Investigation Bureau (NFIB) and Action Fraud

  • Some of the services and sideways interventions

  • Prevention advice and staying safe with online banking
