Keeping communities safer, together

We've teamed up with Crimestoppers to help raise awareness of keeping safe in your community.

We want you to feel safe in your home and community, wherever you live. That’s why we’ve joined up with charity, Crimestoppers, to raise awareness on how to spot the signs of crime and how best to report it.

We want you to feel confident and safe when it comes to reporting issues that are impacting your lives and communities, and we know that being anonymous is important to you.

Crimestoppers – which is independent of the police - exists to help people who might otherwise be silenced to speak up about crime, 100% anonymously. Always. That means never giving your personal details when passing on what you know. No police, no witness statements, no courts.

Do you have information that could help stop local crime, but worry about speaking up?

If you’re suspicious that a crime is taking place in your neighbourhood, trust your instincts and report it anonymously to Crimestoppers. It’s only by reporting issues that we can tackle them and make our neighbourhoods safer and better places for everyone to live.

To pass on what you know about crime, contact the charity Crimestoppers by completing a simple and secure anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org or call their 24/7 UK Contact Centre on freephone 0800 555 111.

Crimestoppers is not a replacement for the emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, please ring 999.
